Common Questions

The Serengeti is spectacular year-round, but the Great Migration river crossings typically occur between July and October. The green season (November–May) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, newborn animals, and lower rates. We'll help you choose the perfect timing based on your priorities.

Absolutely — every single safari we design is 100% bespoke. There are no group tours or fixed itineraries. You tell us your dream, and we build around it: destinations, pace, accommodation style, special interests, dietary requirements, and budget. Every aspect is tailored to you.

We recommend a minimum of 5–7 days for a first safari. This allows enough time to experience different ecosystems, adjust to the rhythm of the bush, and have meaningful wildlife encounters without rushing. For an extended experience, 10–14 days is ideal.

Yellow fever vaccination is required for entry into Tanzania. We recommend consulting a travel health clinic at least 6–8 weeks before departure for personalised advice on malaria prophylaxis and other vaccinations. Tourist visas can be obtained online (eVisa) — we provide full guidance.

Yes! Many of our guests travel with children, and we have specialist family safaris designed for all ages. We select family-friendly camps (some with pools and junior ranger programs), plan shorter drives, and tailor activities to keep young adventurers engaged and safe. Minimum age varies by camp — typically 5+.

A 20% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 60 days before departure. Cancellations made more than 60 days out receive a full refund minus the deposit. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance — we can suggest trusted providers. Full policy details are shared upon booking.
